The Best Races in America decided by runner nominations, running industry surveys, and runner votes
Portland, OR – BibRave, the new marketing solution for races and endurance brands, recently launched The BibRave 100: A Definitive List of the Best Races in America. Today, the company shared the final results from The BibRave 100, including the Top Five Marathons, the Top Five Half Marathons, the Top Three 10Ks and the Top Three 5Ks. All races that made the list were also invited to an awards luncheon at The Running Event.
The Missoula Marathon was voted the best Marathon in America, earning the most runner nominations AND the most votes. The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon nabbed the top spot in the Half Marathon category, while also boasting a nearly-perfect score from the Running Industry Collective survey. The AJC Peachtree Road Race came out on top in the 10K, while the Carlsbad 5000 took home gold in the 5K – the tightest race of all four distance categories.
The full results, including the other top finishers and the Awesome Medals and Bling, Beautiful On-Course Scenery, and Exceptional Race Management categories can be found at www.TheBibRave100.com.
All races listed on The BibRave 100 received two sets of awards, one physical and one digital. The physical awards included a commemorative award bib from sponsor Electric City, an award t-shirt from sponsor Zorrel Apparel, and The BibRave 100’s plush mascot, Benjamin.
The digital award package included a graphic badge that races can add to their website, signifying that their race has been listed one of the best races in America. Recipients also received a digital press kit, which included publication templates, social media verbiage, and suggestions for fun ways to showcase and share images of Benjamin across social networks.
“BibRave has always been about shining a light on the best races, and The BibRave 100 is a natural extension of our brand,” said Tim Murphy, Co-Founder of BibRave. “We wanted to recognize, elevate, and help publicize the races that are doing it right, and we couldn’t be more proud of The BibRave 100 and every race listed.”
The BibRave 100 launched in partnership with The Running Event, and was sponsored by Electric City and Zorrel Apparel. All races included in The BibRave 100 were recognized at an awards luncheon and ceremony on Wednesday, November 29 at The Running Event trade show and conference in Austin, TX. Races on The BibRave 100 received complimentary admission to The Running Event conference, including a conference session for all race directors courtesy of BibRave.
