BibRave Delivers for Honolulu Marathon and The Hapalua

Strong campaign for Honolulu Association races generates hundreds of registrants

(Portland, OR) – BibRave, the new marketing solution for races and endurance brands, recently completed another successful race marketing campaign for both the Honolulu Marathon and The Hapalua – Hawaii’s Half Marathon.

Since 2013, BibRave has used its large audience, influence, and network of social influencers and bloggers, the BibRave Pros, to drive more awareness and registrations for the acclaimed Honolulu Marathon. Through a mixture of social media promotion, newsletter features, blog reviews, race reviews and an enhanced presence on BibRave.com, and sponsored live reads on The BibRave Podcast, BibRave drove over 300 registrations for the Honolulu Marathon in December 2017.

In addition to promoting the Marathon, BibRave and the BibRave Pros also spread the word about Hawaii’s largest Half Marathon, The Hapalua. Yet again, BibRave served up hundreds of registrations for the race while publicizing the race’s breathtaking scenery, the exciting race elements like The Hapalua Chase, where the best local runners from Hawaii get a head start on the pros, and an unforgettable post-race party experience.

“Honolulu is a race-cation MUST for runners,” said Fredrik Bjurenvall, Marketing Director for the Honolulu Marathon. “And as a destination event, we strive to create an attractive and engaging experience for all runners from mainland USA. BibRave and the BibRave Pros have time and again delivered in the form of more runners and excitement for the Honolulu Marathon and now The Hapalua. I look forward to our continued partnership and to the innovative new approaches BibRave can bring in to our future campaigns.”

“The Honolulu Marathon was our very first client, and we couldn’t be prouder to call them our longest-standing partner,” said Tim Murphy, Co-Founder of BibRave. “These racing events are now top picks for our BibRave Pro ambassadors, who are ready to travel over land and sea for a premiere destination race experience. Honolulu Marathon and The Hapalua continue to pull in every type of participant, and always deliver unforgettable race weekend experiences. The warm finish line malasadas definitely don’t hurt!”
