Colorado Springs, CO – The American Trail Running Association (ATRA) announces Nicholas Hill Group as the newest partner in their Event Standards Program.
ATRA introduced its Event Standards Program in 2012, and for the past two years, has included vendors and suppliers as partners to further assist trail race directors in meeting ATRA’s 15 criteria necessary for staging a safe and well-organized event.
“Event liability insurance should be the first item on a race director’s checklist,” said Nancy Hobbs, ATRA executive director. “Over the past year, we have worked with the Nicholas Hill Group, to develop a program dedicated to trail, mountain, and snowshoe races. There are other insurance providers, but we wanted to offer a product specific to our audience. We now have that with Trail Running Insurance Program (T.R.I.P.). This is an exciting addition to ATRA’s portfolio and we hope race directors connect with Nicholas for their insurance needs.”

ATRA will again partner with Active at Altitude for the sixth annual US Trail Running Conference slated to be held August 28-31, in San Luis Obispo, CA, co-hosted by Race SLO. This is a new location for the Conference which, for the past five years, has been staged at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO.
