Colorado Springs, CO – The American Trail Running Association (ATRA) announces Ashworth Awards will return for the second consecutive year as the preferred awards partner in its Event Standards Program.
ATRA’s Event Standards Program was introduced in 2012, and includes vendors and suppliers as partners to further assist trail race directors in meeting ATRA’s 15 criteria necessary for staging a safe and well-organized event.
Awards are a component of every event, and can include medals to honor a race finish, overall and age group prizes, or special recognition for an incredible achievement. Awards can provide an additional way to commemorate an event, share a logo, or highlight an image specific to a venue, or trail.
“Our relationship with Kim, Dan and the Ashworth Awards team has been a great experience for us,” said Nancy Hobbs, ATRA Executive Director. “This company has its pulse on our community’s needs and creates quality products, provides superior customer service, and designs unique awards that resonate with runners.”
Said Kim Ashworth, Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer, Ashworth Awards, “We are thrilled to support ATRA for our second year as the Preferred Awards Partner of ATRA’s Event Standards Program. Ashworth Awards believes that it is important to give back to our sport and be involved on every level. We are not only manufacturers in the endurance sports industry, but we are athletes ourselves!
