September 25, 2017, Lake Forest – On Saturday, November 4th the Catalina Island Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau is partnering with Renegade Race Series to produce the 33rd annual Catalina Island Triathlon, Duathlon, & 5k Run/Walk. In 2016 the event hosted over 550 athletes from 18 different states and three countries in ages ranging from 9 to 88 years old.
“The spectacular setting of Catalina Island makes for an epic triathlete experience. Twisting hillside roads, crystal clear bay water and refreshing sea air combine to make for a unique participant experience. Join with participants from around the world and add this year’s triathlon to your to do or return bucket list,” said Jim Luttjohann, President & CEO of the Catalina Island Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau.

Duathlon: Run 3.1 miles | Bike 17K | Run 3.1 miles
Run/Walk: 3.1 miles
Race Fees: $33 for a 5K walk up to $150 for a relay team.
Packet Pickup: November 3, 4pm – 9pm, at the beautiful Island Spa Catalina or race morning starting at 7:30am at Wrigley Stage.
